Act - All new members begin as a “Red Badge member” signifying they are new to the club.  These members will be paired with a seasoned member who will serve as their mentor and guide them through finding the right place to get involved.  Once the member has taken part in various areas of club life, they will graduate to “Blue Badge” status.

“When joining Rotary, I expected that humanitarian service would be a major component of membership, but the bonus of personal development was not expected.  I may not have been the best speaker, manager or leader when first joining, but all of these skills have had plenty of opportunities to develop in a very positive inclusive environment.  One hears that you only get out of Rotary what you put in, but in many cases, you get a great deal more out of Rotary than you put in.  My only regret is that I did not join sooner.”
