Impact starts with our members — people like you who want to be part of making the world a better place. At club meetings, social events and service projects, we come together to strengthen our connections to professionals, friends, and neighbors and our commitment to improve the lives of those in our community.

Why join Rotary?
You will make a great Rotarian if you:
-    Care about the Dallas community and want to be an active part in making it better
-     Desire to invest your time and talents to give to others
-     Enjoy fun and fellowship with likeminded professional business and community leaders as well as passionate citizens
-     Want to learn more about your community and the world through regular stimulating programs and experiences

Membership Expectations
Participation: We have a strong, active membership. We understand members can’t attend every meeting or activity. However, active members benefit both professionally and personally.
Club Financial Obligations: To remain in good standing, club members contribute annual dues.
Volunteer Service: Propose and serve in impactful, local, and international service projects.  Read to children, stop polio,  pack meal kits or backpacks, help facilitate our weekly meeting or service on a club committee. We have projects around the environment, literacy, public safety, feeding the hungry, honoring and supporting veterans and more. There’s something for everyone!
Financial Gifts: Our members contribute annually to the Rotary Club of Dallas Foundation.  With your contributions, we impact a multitude of local and global projects and initiatives.
Rotary International Support: As part of the larger Rotary International community, all Rotarians support Every Rotarian Every Year with a minimum contribution of $100.

The Four-Way Test
The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings.
Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

“I joined Rotary at a point in my life when I was looking for something more than the many hours that I was putting into my career. I wanted to be part of a network and to build a sense of connection with like-minded individuals. I became a Rotarian and decided to share my journey with the Rotary Club of Dallas because of the friendships that I have built here and because of the drive and passion that I see in the members of this Club to make a real difference in their community.”
