Book Fair wrapping party in preparation for the book fair we will meet at DPD Headquarters in the upstairs media room. We'll pair up with officers and wrap nearly 400 books for the students who will be attending the Book Fair sponsored by Rotary the following Monday. The wrapping party will take place from 9:30AM- Noon and breakfast will be provided.

Tram tour of Historic Fair Park

Come enjoy our final 2021-22 Rotary year "Experience Dallas" club meeting.  Join us for a private, one-of-a-kind tour at Fair Park.

We will be given a private tour of Fair Park through the historical and architectural lens led by Preservationist and award-winning Architect Norman Alston. This tour will last about an hour. Lunch will be personal charcuterie boards by Amor y Queso will be served. We will enjoy lunch in true park fashion alongside Leonhardt Lagoon. 

Registration is required and we are limited to 40 attendees only. 
Parking will be in LOT A through Gate 5. Parking map and directions will be provided to each registered attendee.

Volunteers are needed to cover shifts at the Book Fair assisting the DPD officers with helping students choose age approriate books.

NEW Volunteers MUST complete the Dallas ISD Volunteer orientation- https://dallasisd.voly.org/ . 

Monday - opening day; extra volunteers will be invited to gather with DPD officers from 7-8AM to welcome the students into the school. From 8-9AM each classroom will have a designated volunteer and officer visit to read them a book and deliver the wrapped books. The book fair will open Monday afternoon (closed Thursday for Career Day) and remain open until Friday afternoon.

Celebrating Independence Day, July 4th by lighting up downtown!

Due to 4th of July holiday, no club meeting!  

Rotary Club of Dallas and Safer Dallas lighting up downtown to honor 5 Fallen Dallas Police in 2016. 

Sign up for upcoming Cookies for Cops service project.  We will pack cookies on Thursday and deliver beginning evening shift on Friday through Saturday.  There will be mutliple opportunities to participate!  Cookie drop location to follow.  Delivery will be Southwest Patrol Division, 4230 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Tx  75211.
