"From the Pacific to Pleasant Grove!"
Our speaker, Admiral Patrick Walsh is an amazing Dallas native who has a special message about the success of Cristo Rey, a college prep school in Pleasant Grove. Admiral Walsh graduated with Honors from Jesuit College Prep in Dallas then went on to the U.S. Naval Academy. He flew in combat missions off aircraft carriers and then flew with the Blue Angles. The plane he flew as a Blue Angle is in the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Walsh became the youngest four-star Admiral in the Navy.
Throughout his naval career, he held several key positions, including Vice Chief of Naval Operations, and was Commander of the biggest fleet in the Navy, the Pacific Fleet. He played a key role when the U.S. provided assistance to Japan following the earthquake, tsunami, and radiation disaster of 2011.
While this American leader could easily hold a cushy, high-paying job with some U.S. defense contractor, he is instead shepherding, with amazing success, Christo Rey College Prep.
Don’t miss this opportunity. Register today and bring a guest. You will be glad you did.
