HISTORY AND MISSION

The Dallas Rotary Club Foundation was established June 2, 1954, as a non-profit agency of The Rotary Club of Dallas with the following aims:

To make loans from the Trust Fund to qualified students for college, post-graduate and professional study.
To make grants to student nurses training in Dallas Hospitals and one grant annually to a foreign student for study in a Dallas Educational Institution, these grants to be made as funds became available from interest;
To provide revenue from interest to support Rotary participation in selected local projects.

The Foundation now serves as the philanthropic arm to The Rotary Club of Dallas and to help it reach its mission.
