Experience Home Alone in Concert- DSO
Dec. 06, 2025 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

This holiday season, we are excited to invite RCD members, friends & family to an extraordinary celebration of music, film, and community spirit: Home Alone in Concert. On December 6, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will perform John Williams’ unforgettable score live while the beloved film screens in high definition. It’s an immersive, cinematic experience that resonates with audiences of all ages—Kevin’s clever escapades, the heartwarming family moments, and the film’s mischievous, festive humor—brought to life by a world-class orchestra.

Why you’ll love it:

  • LIVE Orchestra: John Williams’ lush, iconic score performed in real time, perfectly synchronized with every frame.
  • Cinematic Synchrony: The film’s action and emotion unfold in harmony with the orchestra, delivering a radiant sense of wonder.
  • Family-Friendly Magic: A wonderful holiday tradition for members and families alike.
  • A Night to Remember: More than a concert—it’s a shared experience that blends cinema and live music.

The Home Alone Concert is a big hit all over the country and in most cases a sell-out at every performance.

We understand that some of our club members will prefer the traditional Dallas Symphony Orchestra Christmas Pops. Due to scheduling conflict & ticket availability, the date we held for Christmas Pops was not the best option for our annual club event. To accommodate the members who prefer the traditional Christmas Pops, we have secured some seating at the performance on Saturday, December 20th at 7:30pm. If you prefer to attend Christmas Pops, here is the link to purchase those tickets: Click here!

Plan your dinner at the Opus, which offers fine dining in a buffet experience.  The cost if $40 per guest and you can get more information and make your reservation at: Opus

A Visit with President Thomas Jefferson
Feb. 25, 2026 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Step Back in Time with Thomas Jefferson
Join the Rotary Club of Dallas for a special luncheon celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, featuring the captivating Thomas Jefferson interpreter, Steve Edenbo, who brings one of America’s greatest minds to life.
Thomas Jefferson was an American titan who led by persuasion, intellect, and conversation rather than coercion. Serving as the nation’s first Secretary of State, second Vice President, and third President, Jefferson viewed leadership as a responsibility—not an achievement. The accomplishments he valued most were his gifts to America: authoring the Declaration of Independence, founding the University of Virginia, and championing religious liberty.
Our guest will explore what it was like to stand toe-to-toe with the British Empire, to draft and negotiate the Declaration in Independence Hall, and to help shape a new Constitution.
This promises to be an unforgettable journey into leadership, liberty, and the enduring ideas that shaped our nation. Guests are warmly invited—register now for a remarkable Rotary experience.
