Rotary Club of Dallas and Safer Dallas lighting up downtown to honor 5 Fallen Dallas Police in 2016. 

Sign up for upcoming Cookies for Cops service project.  We will pack cookies on Thursday and deliver beginning evening shift on Friday through Saturday.  There will be mutliple opportunities to participate!  Cookie drop location to follow.  Delivery will be Southwest Patrol Division, 4230 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Tx  75211.

Join us in supporting South Oak Cliff High School Band.  We will enjoy the band practicing indoors and will provide heatlhy snacks and water before the band proceeds outside for field practice.

Our guest speaker this week will be Assistant U.S. Attorney Rick Calvert. Calvert, an extraordinary attorney and storyteller, will discuss the case of United States of America vs. Jennifer Faith. 

Faith recruited her high school boyfriend to murder her husband, a beloved member of the Dallas and American Airlines communities. Faith almost got away with “murder”.

We are hosting another Cookies for Cops service project with multiple opportunities to participate. 

On Sept 28, we'll be packaging cookies and preparing goodie baskets for our friends and Dallas Police Department Headquarters.  The cookies will be delivered on Sept 30

We are hosting another Cookies for Cops service project with multiple opportunities to participate. 

On Sept 30, we will deliver cookies to our friends at Dallas Police Department Headquarters. There are two shift options:

10:30 - 11:00 a.m. - deliver goodie baskets to nine department units at Headquarters (please arrive at 10:15am) 

4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - deliver and hand out cookies to the evening shift at Headquarters

If you can help us for either shift, please sign up through the link on the left side of the page. 

The Dallas Police Department will be hosting 2022 Night Out Block Party at the Dallas Police Headquarters.  The Rotary Club of Dallas will have a table set up with a coloring station where children and police officers can interact through coloring. 

We need volunteers to work the booth.  If you are able to help, please contact Cyndi Janssen at cyndi@dallasrotary.org. 

We will be partnering with the White Rock Boat Club to participate in "For the Love of the Lake's second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up event.

Supplies provided, boots recommended. Bring a friend!

Dallas Rotarians on the ground supporting the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Equipped with supplies donated by RCD club members, Ryan Beil and Matt Gerber traveled separately to Eastern Europe to volunteer after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  Come hear about their experiences!

• Honor Our Heroes/Rotary Partnership to Light Up Downtown Dallas on Nov 11 for our Veterans as we have for 10 years and  part of the Rotary Annual Veterans magnificent SAV Event. We work with the Downtown Dallas Bldg managers, media, FB, NextDoor and others to communicate to over 1 million in our area. 

RCD/Safer Dallas volunteering to support Dallas Police Department Northeast NPO Unit at the Annual Health and Safety Fair.  RCD will be providing much needed coats for kids in all sizes for both boys & girls.  In addition to providing coats, they have requested volunteers to help with this well attended event (approx 5000 people).  Due to the crowd, volunteers need to show up around 8:30am.

Lunch and Service-  The  club program will new member inductions and unpresented 2021-22 awards followed by stuffing activity bags for children who will be in Scottish Rite Hospital over the Christmas holiday.  

Dallas Rotary Club Foundation Trustees meet quarterly to review financials, investment reports, and development. This meeting will be a zoom meeting.  Link provided in calendar invite. 

Annual Christmas Pops Concert hosted by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Choir in the Meyerson Symphony Hall. The concert starts at 7:30 pm. Beforehand, the Opus Restaurant will open at 5:30 pm. Our members will be able to reserve Opus seating along with concert tickets. The Dallas Rotary group price is $45 per seat, and seating will be Orchestra Floor Right Side.

1) Pick up a cup of Opa's Glühwein (mulled wine) or hot chocolate. To help us prepare, if you plan to stop by please register.

Join us for a special day as our first responder heroes help kiddos shop at Target with $100 gift cards.  Volunteer anytime between 3-6pm.  Our Rotarian volunteers will be helping in various ways. We may be assisting with shopping, directing or wherever they need us.  If you have 1/2 hour or the full 3 hours, come join us!

Volunteers will help shuffle kids through activities and pick out toys and serve hot chocolate and help police serve hot dogs. Arrive no later than 10:30 to park in lot which will be guarded by police officer. North west corner of forest and Audelia. Police officers will be there with their kids handing out toys and volunteering.
